Anyone heard the phrase "its common sense" and look like a question mark?
Thats because so many people have different perspectives in what common sense is
So what it common sense?
To me its trusting the spontaneous feeling how I should react when Im in a situation and
right after this stopping the most extreme reactions before I actually let out my reaction
Its this stopping or filtering, in my mind, that is common sense. To react in a polite and
calm manor.
If the reaction would be to much mainstream, I use my experience and mold it into
a new reaction that fits the situation, and if it is to extreme I filter it a bit.
Is it people being afraid that makes them not trust their common sense?
Probably an experience and bad confidence thing. I see it amongst younger colleagues and
people with a bad confidence.
When your placed in situations, see to it that you try to learn how different people react in different situations
and when you see reactions that in their turn get a calm and polite reaction back you have seen the result of common sense
In the title it says "A lost art" and thats because I personally dont see this as much as I, and lots of people with me, would
like to see it.
